In order to get products to market, designers and manufacturers need to enter into supply or distribution arrangements with retailers and stockists. It is not uncommon for those agreements to contain restrictions on either the designer and/or the stockist. These arrangements are subject to EU and UK competition law, and specific rules apply to the different types of agreement.
